J’adore photographier le corps humain. C’est, à mon avis, un aspect très gratifiant de mon métier. La photographie de nu artistique aborde plusieurs spécialités photographiques: architecture, portrait, paysage, nature morte, fine art… Toutes ces techniques traitent également du nu, et c’est pour cette raison je trouve qu’elle est la partie la plus complète de la photographie.

J’ai eu de la chance de croiser cette femme merveilleuse et ouverte qui a posé pour moi. Ensemble, nous avons réalisé “Woman in chains”, puisqu’elle a tout de suite compris de quoi ce projet parlait vraiment.
Je voulais des photos intenses et naturelles qui puissent représenter le thème dont nous avions discuté ensemble, avant le shooting. Nous voulions raconter une histoire basée sur les barrières psychologiques de l’être, tout en agissant en tant que femme libre. Ce projet a été conçu dans un studio photographique avec de la lumière continue, de la pellicule noire et blanc et de la musique sensuelle en fond.

Un autre aspect important de ce projet a été la technique de tons chauds utilisée pour le développement et le tirage des images. J’ai moi-même réalisé tout le processus de ce travail: le développement de la pellicule, les tirages, le montage, les passepartouts et même la boîte pour conserver les images. Un vrai chemin de création vers un résultat qui me correspond et m’appartient! Je me sens libre de pouvoir faire et présenter ce travail au public. Il était fermé dans une boîte pendant environ dix ans, car je n’avais pas encore trouvé l’endroit idéal pour l’exposer.

I love to photograph the human body, to me this kind of photography is very rewarding. Nude photography involves many techniques and specialities: architecture, portrait, landscape, still life, fine art, at last all specialties listed in a naked human body … for this reason I think that nude photography is the most complete speciality of photography in general.
I had the opportunity to meet this wonderful woman that posed to me and understood exactly what “Woman in chains” was about.
I wanted intense and natural pictures representing a theme we talked about before starting the shooting. We wanted to tell a story based on the psychological barriers of being an acting as free woman. This project was conceived in a photo studio with continuous lighting, black and white film and sensuous background music.

Another important aspect of this project was the special warm tone technique used for the film developing and printing, everything handmade by myself : the development, the prints, the mounting of the photos, the passepartout and even the box to store the images. A real path to the creation of a result that I identify myself with and I feel that it belongs to me. I feel free to have the opportunity to show this work to a public. It was kept in a box for about ten years, just because I haven’t found yet the right place to expose it. I found it at last !
